PELATIHAN PENGUATAN LITERASI DIGITAL DALAM PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA INGGRIS PEMUDA DESA MAJASARI KABUPATEN MAJALENGKA DI ERA SOCIETY 5.0

Strengthening digital literacy in improving English language skills in Society 5.0 is very important. The Society 5.0 era creates a human-centered and technology-based society. Humans have a role in the digital era, so it requires a very wide range of English skills. Strengthening digital literacy can be an alternative to improve the ability of young people in Majasari Village, Majalengka Regency. The knowledge and skills of members of the Majasari Village Youth Organization in English understanding are still relatively low. Their educational background is junior high school graduates, high school graduates and some are colleges, but they do not have the knowledge and communication skills using English well. Based on the problems faced by partners, the team provided a solution to the problem in the form of training to strengthen digital literacy in improving the English language skills of the Youth of Majasari village, Majalengka Regency. The purpose of this service activity is one of the efforts to develop the English language skills of Majasari village youth in its complex and contextual use. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be one of the effective solutions. The youth can use the various applications andsoftware available to carry out the English learning process. The achievements of the training activities: 1) The youth of Majasari village can apply several applications in learning English; 2) Improving the English language ability of Majasari village youth; 3) Strengthening digital literacy can boost a person's 'selling value', 'added value', and competence in various dimensions of life
